Why We're Better

Our Methods & Philosophies

At West Valley Strength, we're historians when it comes to physical fitness culture, methodologies, and philosophies. Investigating and researching the training programs of the greats has always been a hobby of ours. From bodybuilders and powerlifters to strongmen, olympic lifters, elite crossfitters, hammer throwers, shot putters, and more, there is much to be learned from the biggest and baddest athletes of all time. While most personal trainers get their training and education from for-profit companies, weekend courses, and people who've never accomplished anything of note, We prefer to accumulate the real world knowledge of notable athletes and coaches from the inception of the barbell to today while sharing that knowledge with our team and clients.

Our training and programs aren't designed to generate profits or keep you paying longer, they're designed specifically for you to get maximum results in minimum time.

Our philosophies and methodologies have been spawned from great names that should be in sports museums, but unfortunately most trainers couldn't tell you who they are... names such as Bill "Peanuts" West, George Frenn, and Joe DiMarco of the original Culver City Westside Barbell Club that existed before Louie Simmons bought it and took over. Legendary bodybuilders such as Chuck Sipes, Reg Park, Sergio Oliva, and Franco Columbu. Pre-steroid era strength athletes Arthur Saxon, Milo Steinborn, and John Grimek.

We're better than the rest because of our knowledge and exhaustive selection of methods or unique exercises that go beyond the mediocre programs most others provide. We have an extreme dedication to experimentation and finding the absolute best training style for you.

Get strong, lose weight, or just generally look and feel better in life.
